In the beginning of 2001, Chris Nelson phased out his involvement with the site. I can send email to my Plusnet address from another email service and I can also receive emails at the other service. The main issue is the waiting around for a couple of days for the mail server side to sort itself out. Ive seen this mail server disconnect issue a couple of times before, once about 6 months ago, and once year before that. The site was founded by Chris Nelson on September 1, 1998, just a few months after, which was created on February 23, 1998, and quickly grew in popularity. Just double-checked all the mails server settings within the Thunderbird client and they are as per the BT specifications.
